GymSuper App

GymSuper is a regional fitness center located in Bangkok. GymSuper strives to provide top class fitness center in Thailand. They offer a wide range of fitness classes e.g. Yoga, BodyCombat, BodyPump, Pilates, and Personal trainer. GymSuper’s targets customers like workers, managers, and teenagers who love to exercise for 24 hours.

Project overview

The problem:

Managers and workers have difficulty to book Personal Trainer and join the fitness classes.

The goal:

Design an app for GymSuper that allows users to easily book the PT and classes

Project duration:

September 2022 to December 2022

Paper wireframes

Taking the time to draft iterations of each screen of the app on paper ensured that the elements that made it to digital wireframes would be well-suited to address user pain points. For the home screen, I prioritized a quick and easy booking process to help users save time.

As the initial design phase continued, I made sure to base screen designs on feedback and findings from the user research.

Easy navigation was a key user need to address in the designs in addition to equipping the app to work with assistive technologies.

Low-fidelity prototype

The low-fidelity prototype connected the primary user flow of building and booking PT and fitness classes. The prototype could be used in a usability study with user.

Mockups

Early designs allowed for some customization, but after the usability studies, I added additional option for PT booking. I also revised the design so users see all classes available when they first land on the screen.

The second usability study revealed frustration with the date selection in the calendar. So I re-designed the date selection option to this screen.

High-fidelity prototype

The final high-fidelity prototype presented cleaner user flows for Class booking. It also met user needs for PT booking option as well as more customization.
